Atgāzene and Šosciems -- two areas that I passed on my way to... kind of heaven, which is seen in the next post.
"Hopõn, kõnõlõ õkva, kost kotossõ päält sa seia sait! Om iks ratus kaalan vai tullit esi üle tii?" I tend to speak Võro with animals :)
Very nice building.
And few photos from the centre too. This is coach station or right next to it.
Central market buildings. Former railway station or something.
I had to take photo of this "Pērnava" -- hmm, Pērnava, Pērnava... I was puzzled because I hadn't heard any city with this name before. I soon realized that this is actually Estonian city "Pärnu" in Latvian :-)
On my way home... It can be that this isn't in Rïga anymore. It was taken 10 minutes after the previous photo. It would be nice to know where is it. Nice blocks.

194 Lielirbes iela and Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve 27.04.2010
These are the names of two main streets that I walked on.
My dear friend is sick, but somebody takes care of him.
Belgrade has probably the most superb examples of this style. And there are some in Vienna.
Lots of nice new architecture in this area.
These two are certainly my favourites.
Pretty high electric mast.
Continuing my walk after architectural beauties of different kind. Try to guess where I was heading to.
Amazing! How nice! I have no idea about the third one, is it finished, the same, or taken down.
Nice comparison, new and old.
Such a cool look! You can see into metal depths through the blue air...
